A Visitor’s Guidebook to Endau-Rompin

The Endau-Rompin forest complex that traverses the eastern Johor-Pahang boundary, at the headwaters of the Endau and Rompin watersheds, is a special place that harbours a rich biological diversity of immense conservation importance. For the past 30 years, the core of the forest complex in Johor has protected within the 48,905-ha Endau Rompin (Johor) National Park. More than just a forest, the upper Endau valley on the Johor side is a cultural landscape, where generations of indigenous Orang Hulu have resided since time immemorial. This guidebook provides visitors a window to the plants, animals, culture, and geology of the park, along with practical information on trails, travel logistics and accommodation.
